Website Snapshot Configuration

The Website Snapshot Engine Configuration has one parameter that takes in value:

  • url: required. The URL of the website to snapshot.

The output will always be a PNG image of the website.

Let’s run through an example using this engine together.

Create an Agent

Click on the “Add Agent” button in the top right corner of the Agents page.

Enter a name and an optional description of your Agent.

Select the Website Snapshot Engine

Configure the engine as follows

$ starts a template string
  • url: $url

Optional Template String configuration

Template Strings can help dynamically configure parameters such as url path.

Create the Agent

Hit the Create button. Now, let’s run it on a website through the UI.

View the Agent you just created

Create a new Agent job

Fill in the Agent input

Let’s use the following url: https://www.getroe.ai.

Here is the filled-in Agent input:

Run the job

Hit the Create button at the bottom to start the url snapshot job.

View the Results

Click View of the respective job to view its status and results.

In the Results window of the Agent Job Details page you’ll see the output image.
